Another Audio Book
This time I read three short stories, THE USE OF REASON, A SONG and THREE FRIENDS, in the forthcoming publication MOTHERS AND SONS.

I have been up in Leicestershire at White House Sound again reading Sebastian Barry’s new book. Not many laughs in it, but heavy with gravitas. Reading an AUDIO BOOK is tough intensive work that certain actors have the nack for, but me? I labour with the sight reading on the mike and not making a noise when you turn the page. All those technicalities. And it is rush rush rush. That’s why I read the book 5 times before I went. A sad story of a Sligo man and his unfortunate wife driven demented by drink.
I have just returned from Leicester where I have been reading an Audio book – STOLEN SOULS. Phew… whoever said reading was easy? If you would like to hear an excerpt from it go to ABOUT on the home page and press audio books and follow the link.
