I have been recording another audio book, THE LAST HORSEMAN by David Gilman, a novel set in The Boer War.
Barry, my character, has returned to the STREET. Some funny scenes to perform. Great stuff with Kym and Simon and Bev.
Off to Dublin in August to begin rehearsals for THE NIGHT ALIVE by Conor McPherson. We play for two weeks at The Gaiety Theatre in the Dublin Theatre Festival and then on to Belfast for four weeks at The Lyric Theatre. It is a Lyric Theatre production with Conor directing. It must be over forty years since I last played the Gaiety with Borstal Boy. Am very happy and excited to be returning to my native city in such a marvellous play and such a great character to portray.

“…the he and the she of it.” A Portrait of James Joyce
It will be nice to revisit the lovely little theatre where we did ALL THAT FALL last year.
